About Us
Dr. Emily Aronow, DPT, Fellow in Pain Science, treats pain and injury for patients with complex conditions. She specializes in processing disorders of the brain and nervous system, with a special interest in the effect on pain of the immune and endocrine systems.
Dr. Aronow is a Board-Certified Physical Therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). After graduating from the physical therapy program at the University of Colorado in 2007, she achieved her specialty pain certification through the International Spine and Pain center in 2016. In 2023, she completed a rigorous two year fellowship in Pain Science through Evidence In Motion. She now joins an elite group of fewer than 50 physical therapists across the nation who specialize in comprehensive treatment of the nervous system. She holds additional certifications in trigger point dry needling, pelvic health treatment, and yoga instruction.
Dr. Aronow practices comprehensive treatment for a full spectrum of pain conditions, including CRPS, radiculopathy, fibromyalgia, pelvic pain, joint pain, post-operative conditions and sensory processing disorders. She uses physical and cognitive therapy, addresses sleep issues, and will work with your physician on medication management. She provides both diagnostic and therapeutic services to reduce distress and restore function.
Dr. Aronow and her family live in Denver. She enjoys hiking, cycling, yoga, ice climbing and playing music with her husband and son.
